Plugins installation

By VeryGames AutoPlugin

VeryGames offers you a simplified installation of tens of plugins. For you to learn them, and set them to your likings, you have, at your disposal, complete tutorials, for each plugin we propose.

By FTP

We cannot propose every existing plugins (there are way too many !), so we let you install the missing ones manually, by using your FTP access.

You can find all the plugins you want there :

Once you've downloaded a plugin, you simply need to place its ".jar" file in the following directory :

/games/minecraft/craftbukkit/plugins/

If a settings folder is provided with the plugin, you need to place it in the exact same directory :

/games/minecraft/craftbukkit/plugins/

Then, once your plugin is available on the FTP, connect to your server, and type this command (as if you wanted to speak) :

/reload

Wait a few seconds, the time for the plugins to be reloaded.

Your plugin is now available.

Careful : Some plugins may require a complete restart of the server, so read the installation instruction of the plugin carefully !

Minecraft OpenMod Java TEST

This system, that you can install through your "My Games" menu in the VeryGames admin panel of your MineCraft server, will allow you to freely choose the MineCraft archive that you wish to play on.

So this could allow you to set previous versions of MineCraft, or any MineCraft mod (CraftBukkit, Tekkit, BuildCraft, Planes, WW2 Guns, Vehicles...).

Install OpenMod

  • Go into the My games section, in your admin panel.

  • Then you need to install the OpenMod version of the server

  • Finally, you need to boot on the OpenMod

image : Boot_openmod_en.png

When you install OpenMod JAVA, the /games/minecraft/openmod/ directory is created on the FTP. This is where you want to upload your mod.

For instance, if I want the latest Recommended Build of CraftBukkit, I go on the following site :
  http://dl.bukkit.org/downloads/craftbukkit/list/rb/
And I upload my CraftBukkit-1.2.5-R1.jar file in /games/minecraft/openmod/

To boot on the .jar, follos these steps :

  • Section "My server"

image : Panel_MC_myserver_button_en.png

  • Then, the command line. If, for instance, I've installed the latest Recommended Build of CraftBukkit, I edit it that way :

image : Ligne_boot_openmod_en.png I confirm the change and I restart.

  • If you want to boot on multiple mod simultaneously, you simply need to change the argument like that :

  • The command line will have to look like this :
mod_number1.jar:mod_number2.jar

The previous versions of MineCraft and CraftBukkit contains known bug, that we've mostly listed on this page : http://verywiki.net/en/FAQ_MineCraft_VQS_and_VQSinfinite

CAREFUL : If your server doesn't work with the archive you installed, VeryGames won't be held responsible, and the technical support won't be able to help you.

If you were on MineCraft or CraftBukkit before, you can get your map back pretty easily if it's been saved.

Launch your server on OpenMod Java, then go in the Map Backup menu, and select the latest version of your map so that a copy of it will be sent in /games/minecraft/openmod/.

Then, your server will be restarted on it.
